ring: thinking

Purple means the machine is working out an answer. Kids watch it compute instead of guessing at magic.

Freedom Kids One

A screen-free tutor for kids 5–8 and the grown-ups who learn with them. It shows how AI works, and that AI can be wrong, while you build real things together from around the house.

A lab takes ten minutes and a kitchen drawer

  1. 1

    Pick a project together

Choose a project card with your child and tap it on One's side. Today it's foil boats.

  2. 2

    Build it for real

One talks you both through each step with things from around the house: foil, tape, a bowl of water, a jar of pennies. Some steps need a grown-up's hands.

  3. 3

    Ask, guess, check

Your child holds the button and asks. The ring shows whether One is sure, and when it isn't, you test it together.

  4. 4

    Done in minutes

Like a good tutor, One keeps lessons short and ends them on its own. A daily time limit keeps it from taking over the afternoon.

Taught at their level

in One today

In words they know
One answers in a sentence or two, in words a five-year-old knows, one step at a time.
Another way, when it's confusing
When your child presses “doesn't make sense”, One explains it again, more simply.
Lessons from their questions
When questions keep circling a topic, the parent app suggests a short lesson on it. It only reaches One if you send it.

in development

Grows with your child
We're building One to keep adjusting to your child's age and understanding, from what they've learned and never from personal details.
You see how it adapts
The parent app will show what's changing and why, and you can adjust it.

Four promises to parents

You see every word
Every question and every answer is in the parent app, as text you can read whenever you like.
Nothing new without you
When One suggests a new lesson, you read the exact draft first. It only reaches your child if you send it.
A tutor, not a friend
One has no name, no face and no personality. It keeps to lessons, the way a good tutor does, and it never claims to be your child's friend.
No recordings by default
Audio recordings stay off unless you turn them on for your device.

You're part of every lab

Every question your child asks and every answer One gives shows up in the parent app as text you can read. After a lab, it suggests something to ask them about at dinner, so the learning keeps going with you.

    “it held fourteen!”

  6. 4:19 pm

    one · sure
